February 8, 2023 – The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum is inviting interested speakers to submit a presentation proposal for the National Supporting Women in Trades (SWiT) Conference, being held in Winnipeg, June 10-12.

The conference is expected to bring together 300+ delegates from across Canada, who will discuss initiatives that help address the challenges faced by women in trades, highlight promising practices, and contribute “to a national conversation to support equity priority groups in apprenticeship and the skilled trades”.

This year, the SWiT program will offer breakout sessions across two program streams: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Best Practices; and Tools 4 Change Workshops.
