June 28, 2019 – CSA Group has certified Mersen’s Surge Trap STMT series of low-voltage (LV) surge protective devices (SPDs), as per the standard, CSA C22.2 Type 4 Component Assemblies.

The DIN-rail mount SPDs, which have also earned UL 1449 certification, are designed to protect controls, power supplies, communications systems and other sensitive equipment.

The series is suitable for operating voltages of 12 to 230 V AC and 24 to 365 V DC. It offers an optional dry contact feature for remote monitoring.
