Eaton Electrical Sector Canada appoints Perry D’Ortenzio and Rick Hampton

February 8, 2011 | By Anthony Capkun

Jeff Krakowiak, vice president and general manager Eaton Electrical Sector Canada, announced the appointment of Perry D’Ortenzio to the position of director of sales, Canada, and Rick Hampton to the position of manager, OEM sales for Canada.

D’Ortenzio’s most recent assignment was national marketing manager for Canada, a role in which he was responsible for marketing, engineering and the Canadian satellite assembly facilities. He has held several successful progressive assignments in sales and marketing within Eaton’s Canadian organization. D’Ortenzio has an industrial engineering technologist degree from Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ont.

Hampton will report directly to Perry D’Ortenzio. In his new role, Hampton will lead all EOEM/MOEM-based initiatives across the Canadian sales districts. With Eaton’s recent acquisition of CopperLogic and its focus on serving the control, components and automation markets, Hampton is “ideally suited to lead this initiative for Canada”. Hampton has a BA Sc. in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo, Ont.
