June 15, 2015 – Emerson Industrial Automation says its new Appleton JBEP polyester enclosures and junction boxes protect instrumentation, terminals and other electrical equipment in harsh environments.

Providing an IP66 rating to prevent water ingress, these enclosures and junction boxes can work in petrochemical applications, wastewater treatment centers, offshore drilling and other hazardous or highly corrosive environments, including food processing and dairies subject to frequent washdowns.

Appleton JBEP enclosures and junction boxes have non-metallic housings and 5mm fiberglass reinforced polyester, with an IK10 impact rating of 20 joules.

The selection of sizes range from 85 x 85 x 60mm to 750 x 320 x 230mm, with a choice of empty, undrilled boxes as well as models preconfigured for instrumentation or electrical and power applications. The boxes can also be coupled together.

JBEP series enclosures and junction boxes are certified for ATEX and IECEx locations worldwide.
