February 5, 2024 – Gray Tools introduced a 16-piece insulated hex bit socket set featuring both SAE and metric sizes, contained in a carrying case with foam organizer. All pieces have dual-layer insulation, providing protection up to 1000V.

The new 3/8-in. drive socket set (25016-I) includes seven SAE hex head sockets, ranging from 1/8 in. to 3/8 in., as well as seven metric hex head sockets from 4 mm to 10 mm. Also included in the set is an insulated 42-tooth round head ratchet and 3-in. extension attachment.

Each bit’s size is marked for easy identification, with corresponding marks on the foam tray. The dual-coloured insulation serves as a safety indicator: when the inner yellow layer becomes visible, the tool is no longer safe for use.
