February 28, 2020 | By Kavita Sabharwal-Chomiuk
Ideal Industries (Ideal) has announced that its fifth annual National Championship will be taking place in Nashville, Tenn. from November 4 to 6, 2020. The championship invites Canada’s elite electricians and apprentices to join in on three days of competition and camaraderie.
Last November’s event, which took place in Orlando, Fla., saw 18 of Canada’s best electricians and apprentices face off against opponents from across North America for a weekend of challenging skills competitions. Last year’s event also featured the first ever International Competition, where Calgary’s Paul Hannania represented Canada against finalists from China, Australia and the U.S., all competing to win a Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup Truck.
The event will take place at Music City Center, located in the heart of downtown Nashville. Any electricians or apprentices interested in competing should visit idealnationals.com to register and view local event listings.
