March 25, 2024 | By Anthony Capkun

March 25, 2024 – In recognition of World Water Day (2024), IPEX announced a total donation of $50,000 to two water charities in North America.

“Water is a fundamental human right, and we believe we have an accountability as a socially responsible corporation—deeply rooted in the water business—to contribute to solving the world’s water challenges,” says Alex Mestres, CEO, Aliaxis Americas.

As part of its “iCare” community investment and social impact program, IPEX is donating $25,000 to the Canadian charity Water First’s Drinking Water Internship Program, which supports young Indigenous interns in becoming certified water treatment plant operators.

Additionally, IPEX is donating $25,000 to DigDeep’s World Water Day campaign to help improve water infrastructure and access to water in communities across the United States.

“We are honoured to partner with Water First and DigDeep to not only raise awareness on a day like today, but also to create meaningful difference for a prosperous tomorrow,” Mestres added.

Both partnerships are a direct reflection of Aliaxis’ commitment to addressing water challenges and to accelerate access to clean water, says IPEX.
