July 2, 2013 – Knipex Tools has launched dual-hinge designed high-leverage diagonal cutter, TwinForce. The TwinForce achieves cutting performance with two welded, forged-in axles and precision-milled functional surfaces. The company says this 7-in. tool cuts like a 10-in. tool, boasting a compact size it can fit into tight areas that a 10-in. tool cannot. The TwinForce is beneficial for cutting for long periods of time and for repetitive use. It requires approximately half of the strength to cut medium to hard wire when compared to other high-leverage diagonal cutters of the same size, even at the cutting tip, says the company, adding that the low cutting impact and low weight of the product makes TwinForce cutters easy and comfortable to use.
