Lighting Science Group Corp., a maker of LED-based lighting, has hired Travis Jones as VP national accounts. Jones will play a role in managing existing national accounts and pursuing new ones. He reports to John Bono, the company’s VP strategic accounts.

Prior to joining Lighting Science, Jones worked for Cooper Lighting, where he served most recently as business development manager for national accounts. Prior to Cooper Lighting, he worked for NESCO as director of national account sales, and spent six years at Acuity Brands as VP sales & marketing in the Austin Division.
