February 1, 2016 By Renée Francoeur
February 1, 2016 – LockedUp Monitored Security Inc. (LMS) says it is inviting electrical contractors, security system specifiers and installers in Canada to include its LMS wireless video alarm verification security system as part of their residential and commercial portfolio offerings. The LMS system is “easy for contractors to install, reducing installation challenges and long-term maintenance costs associated with traditional hard-wired and wireless systems”, LMS says.
LMS says it uses genuinely wireless cameras and UHF transmission to avoid Wi-Fi/RF blend service interruptions. Military encrypted, FHSS transmits bursts of video images with a range up to 1.6 km, the company claims, providing immediate alarm analysis and decision making. It also features up to 8 years of device battery life and Cloud services including live 24/7 monitoring.
