Milwaukee expands Sawzall blades with Flush Cut and Rough-In offerings

October 27, 2011 | By Alyssa Dalton

October 27, 2011 – Milwaukee has expanded the new wood-cutting Sawzall blade offering with the Flush Cut and Rough-In blade, two new application specific blades which focus on eliminating key user frustrations, it says. According to the company, the Flush Cut Blade features a unique shape to protect against floor impacts, a floor guard design to shield the teeth from floor contact and a double truss design that guides the blade for straighter window cut-outs. The Rough-In Blade offers a low profile for cutting holes as small as 2-1/8″ in diameter and an optimized 7-3/8″ length that allows the blade to cut holes through double top plates, adds Milwaukee. Both blades also feature the Nail Guard and Fang Tip designs which were introduced in November 2010.
