November 10, 2011 – Milwaukee has launched 18 Small Angle Grinders, which it claims deliver up to 3X more durability and up to 50% more power than the competition based on its patent pending motor technology and tool free design. According to Milwaukee, the 100% tool free design allows users to change all accessories, including hubbed product, without a wrench.

June launch: 4-1/2”- 5” Compact Small Angle Grinders, featuring 11 Amp, 1,400 MWO motors, which Milwaukee says are ideal for industrial long duration grinding. Models include: 6147-30; 6147-31; 6146-30; 6146-31; 6146-33; 6121-30; 6121-31; 6121-31A.

July/August launch: 5”- 6” High Performance Grinders, featuring 13 Amp, 2,100 MWO motors which are better suited for larger capacity materials that require the highest power available, it adds. Models include: 6117-30; 6117-31; 6117-33; 6117-31B; 6117-33D; 6161-30; 6161-31; 6161-33; 6124-30; 6124-31.
