Moxa INJ-24A Gigabit high-power PoE+ injector overcomes outdoor limitations

April 16, 2013 | By Anthony Capkun

April 16, 2013 – Moxa—a provider of networking, communication and computing solutions—says its INJ-24A Gigabit high-power PoE+ injector overcomes the limitations of PoE+ technology in outdoor applications, such as IP cameras, wireless access points or RF modems, not to mention punishing weather. Along with data, the INJ-24A is capable of transmitting 60W of power to any PD or PoE device, allowing devices on 10/100/1000 networks to safely operate with twice the power of conventional PoE+. By adjusting a DIP switch, you can select different power standard modes, and even which wire pairs to upon which to deliver power. This means the INJ-24A can supply power to nearly any PoE device with minimal compatibility obstacles, boasts Moxa, adding the INJ-24A thrives in conditions experiencing power fluctuations, static electricity and other sources of electromagnetic interference.
