In memoriam – Freda LeGallais loved to play the piano

It is with great sadness that the family of Freda LeGallais announced her passing on November 26, 2019. She was 101.
Born in Lennoxville, Que. in 1918, Freda was fond of music from a young age, to the point where her name became synonymous with the piano. According to her son, Bryan, she was well known for accompanying her husband, William, to many CEDA conventions over the years and playing the piano in numerous hospitality suites as other attendees sang along.
Freda was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, William, and her three siblings, Stanley, Herschel and Marian. She is survived by her children, Randy (Lynne), Bryan (Leah) and Wendy (Dick); her grandchildren, Michael, Kim (Randy), David, Jennifer, Peter (Bryan), Jeff, Adam and Megan (Wendy); her great grandchildren, Xavier, Emeline, Jordyn, Peyton, Caiden, Sadie, Paisley, Taylor and Ellis.
Donations can be made in Freda’s memory to The Alzheimer’s Society and to Cawthra Gardens (residents Council).
