Chris White to head Philips Lighting Americas

March 9, 2018 - Philips Lighting has named Chris White president of the Americas, where he will manage all commercial and operational activities relating to the company’s consumer and professional products, systems and services throughout North, South and Central America.

Eric Rondolat, CEO of Philips Lighting, notes White is a “recognized thought leader on the positive disruptive effects of an increasingly digital and connected world, and brings a unique perspective on IoT, which will help us to further expand our connected lighting offering, while continuing to strengthen all of our businesses in the Americas”.

Prior to joining Philips Lighting, White was a 20-year veteran of Cisco, where he held various leadership roles, including senior vice-president Global Sales, Strategy and Go-to-Market, Internet of Things (IoT).
