June 26, 2014 – Platinum Tools says its Cable Prowler TCB300 tool provides full cable testing on any category network, coax, or telephone cable, while combining the functions of a high-end cable tester and length measurement tester, with the capability to identify link status, link capability, and PoE detection.

According to the company, it also enables quick identification of a network drops link capability and current link status. The unit boasts full colour and internal memory to save results, as well as the ability to export to a computer via micro USB cable for record keeping and printing.
