Schneider introduces Conext Core XC-NA solar inverter

February 6, 2014 – Schneider Electric Solar Business has announced the new Conext Core XC-NA series, a new line of central inverters boasting high reliability and compatibility with any photovoltaic (PV) panel type and installation.

Available in 540kW, 630kW and 680kW power ratings, it is listed to 1000vDC and is suited for large commercial applications over 500kW and PV power plant applications over 1MW. The XC-NA also integrates a smart PV ground fault detection scheme to help reduce fire hazard risks in grounded PV installations. “We have put this inverter through extensive safety, quality and reliability testing which includes dust, rain ingress, seismic and salt spray to ensure a very robust product. This is one of the most reliable central inverters on the market today,” says Laurent Bataille, senior vice president of the Solar Business. The unit is an outdoor UL1741 certified version of the Conext Core XC central inverter, which was launched to the market in 2011.
