Siemens Canada to fully integrate TurboCare into its operations

July 5, 2013 | By Anthony Capkun

July 4, 2013 – Siemens Canada says it will fully integrate Siemens-owned TurboCare Canada (which has more than 50 employees at locations in Calgary and Edmonton) into its operations. Effective October 1, TurboCare’s Canadian office will operate under the Siemens brand as part of its Industry Sector.

“This is a good move to benefit our customers,” said Michael Gross, senior vice-president, Industry Sector, Siemens Canada. “Many of our customers are currently transacting with both Siemens Canada and TurboCare. Under the new structure, customers will deal with one organization…”

TurboCare Canada Ltd. was originally acquired by Siemens in 2006; it specializes in the application of repair, engineering and maintenance technologies to solve industrial machinery problems, with a focus on electric motor repairs, turbo-machinery, and mechanical and electrical engineering services.

Siemens Canada says this integration supports Siemens’ long-term goal of expanding the company’s customer service footprint in Western Canada.
