February 1, 2019 – Electrical product distributor Sonepar Canada has promoted Kevin Bain to regional director of Dixon Electric.

Bain was one of Dixon’s owners before Sonepar acquired it and has been with the company for more than 25 years. In his new role, he will be responsible for the overall business, which distributes electrical products in Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, Timmins and North Bay, Ont. All four branches’ managers will report directly to him.

“Dixon is poised for many years of significant growth and I am certain Kevin is the right leader to take the business forward,” says Todd Walford, president of Sonepar for Ontario.

Bain most recently served as Sudbury branch manager. He plans to hire his replacement for that role in the near future.
