August 14, 2013 – The Designers Lighting Forum of New York announced a Call for Speakers for LEDucation 8, which organizers call the largest single-day exhibition and educational event dedicated solely to the LED market and technology. LEDucation returns to New York City March 18-19, 2014, in a new, two-day format and new venue.

The LEDucation conference program promises to deliver the industry’s top authorities to address and discuss the latest advancements, trends and regulations in solid-state lighting.

The Call for Speakers focuses on a variety of one-hour sessions and dedicated panel discussions targeting some of the hottest topics in SSL technology today and in the future. These sessions will cover a diverse span of industry topics and will attract attendance from the architectural, engineering, OLED and LED technology, theatrical, educational, interior design, construction, building management, energy-efficient lighting and controls, and wireless industries.

Speaker proposals will be accepted ONLINE until October 15, 2013.

Organizers says that, due to the continued popularity of the annual event and an expanding waiting list of exhibitor requests, they have contracted a new exhibit space at the Sheraton NY Times Square hotel.
