September 13, 2023 – The Lion Electric Company—a manufacturer of all-electric medium- and heavy-duty vehicles—has appointed Nicolas Brunet president.

In his new and expanded role, Brunet will work alongside CEO-founder Marc Bedard on the creation and execution of all strategic aspects of the business, with a focus on accelerating sales across Canada and the United States, plus oversee all commercial operations.

Prior to this appointment, Brunet served as executive vice-president and CFO.

Richard Coulombe, meantime, had been serving as Lion’s senior vice-president, Strategic Initiatives, but now assumes the role of CFO. Coulombe possesses over 25 years of experience in executive finance roles, mostly with manufacturing companies.
