Wolfedale Electric completes rooftop solar installation for Advanced Green Technologies – 2011

November 14, 2011 – Dial One Wolfedale Electric has announced its completion of (1) Megawatt of Solar Power project consisting of (2) 500KW Roof top solar installations in Woodstock, Ont., for Advanced Green Technologies.

The two sites, 460 Industrial Ave. and 80 Norwich Ave., are owned and operated by Nautilus Solar Canada Limited Partnership, a joint venture between Bright Power Inc. and Nautilus Solar Canada Inc. According to Wolfedale, the system is made up of more than 4600 solar panels, and can reduce the carbon footprint by 240 tonnes per year. It was installed by Wolfedale, and designed by Advanced Green Technologies, and was installed by Wolfedale.

“Energy has become a focal point for Wolfedale Electric ever reminding us that power conservation and green energy generation are here to stay and very much in demand, for overall cost savings and carbon footprint impact,” said the company.

“This will add clean energy to the Woodstock grid providing sufficient power to run approximately 120 homes,” added Woodstock Hydro, who approved the systems for power generation.
