RECALL: Missing French pages in owner’s manual for some Honda EU2000iT1 generators

January 14, 2017 | By Anthony Capkun

January 14, 2017 – Honda Canada is recalling the owner’s manual provided with certain Honda EU2000iT1 inverter-type 1600W generators because of missing pages in the French-language section.

The manual provided with certain EU2000iT1 generators may be missing pages 33 to 48 in the French section. There are important safety warnings and instructions for safe use within these missing pages.

The owner’s manual is a bilingual, glue-bound book. The generators are red and black with a handle. The words “Honda” and the model number “EU2000i” are printed on the side of the generator.

The recall involves about 4000 units sold in Canada from January 2014 to November 2016 by authorized Honda Power Equipment Dealers only.

If your manual is missing pages 33 to 48, contact Honda Canada Customer Relations at 888-946-6329.
