The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) announced the results of its board of directors election for 2010. Where Canada is concerned, the newly elected directors are:

• Director-at-large Canada (representing Canadian members): Tony Faccia,
VP wireline access networks, Rogers Cable Communications.
• Director-at-large (representing all members): Dick Amell, VP engineering, Time Warner Cable.
• Director-at-large: Alan Tschirner, VP technology & engineering, NCTC.

The newly elected directors will begin their two-year terms at a board meeting during SCTE’s Cable-Tec Expo.
