The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) is accepting candidate nominations for the 10 seats on its board of directors up for election in 2010. Any member of the society can nominate a candidate by submitting the online nomination form (link below).

Nominators can click on the website’s Member Services section, then
select ELECTIONS to access details and the form. The nomination deadline
is March 15.

Among the 10 positions to be filled are:

• Director-At-Large (Canada)
• Director-At-Large (2 positions)

Eligible candidates must be active SCTE members who have been members
for at least the last three years and reside within the region they will
represent. According to SCTE’s bylaws, no more than four employees from
one company will be allowed to sit on the board during the same year.
