Standard Practice for Office Lighting (RP-1-12) now available in French and Spanish

June 30, 2015 – The American National Standard Practice for Office Lighting (RP-1-12) is now available in both French and Spanish, announced the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES).

The French and Spanish versions are translated directly from the English version of RP-1-12 and the IES said they hope this will help reach a broader audience.

RP-1-12 address changes in the office environment such as computer-based tasks, new office layouts, the effect of energy efficiency on lighting design, new light sources and control techniques, to name a few.

The new versions are available as a PDF download from the IES at www.ies.org/store for $75 US. Members pay $52.50.
