Become a full mobile repair shop with Greenlee Utility’s Gator Pack

November 18, 2013 | By Anthony Capkun

November 18, 2013 – Greenlee Utility says its new Gator Pack backpack was developed to help line crews transport equipment quickly, safely and easily.

The Gator’s storage is divided among three internal pockets and three external compartments; additional space is available for transporting a Greenlee EHP700L battery-powered hydraulic pump. This design, says the company, allows line workers to carry a range of heads, jaws, hoses, connectors, etc., simultaneously. The backpack features fully adjustable hip, shoulder and chest straps, helping users distribute weight more efficiently; however, Greenlee cautions users not to overload the pack. The ideal carrying weight is about 1/5 of the user’s body weight. The Gator Pack is constructed from high-visibility, triple-reinforced vinyl for added durability, visibility and water resistance. A hang tab is also included for hoisting to elevated work locations.
