ENMAX and Cardston unveil net zero solar projects

August 30, 2017 – ENMAX and the Town of Cardston have completed two Net Zero solar projects, installing 500+ solar modules on the rooftops of Cardston’s Charlie Cheeseman Memorial Ice Arena and Civic Centre.

Covering an area of about 13,000 sf, the 546 solar modules will produce 100% of the facilities’ annual energy consumption (over 200MWh), says ENMAX, reducing electricity costs by almost $20,000 annually.
