Skills Canada wants us to stay connected during National Skilled Trade & Technology Week

October 30, 2020 – Skills/Compétences Canada is taking its 2020 National Skilled Trade & Technology Week online, across all of its social media platforms, November 1-8, 2020.
On November 2, SCC will start the week off with special messages from its president, alumni and industry partners, and a “Kahoot” challenge (game-based learning platform) to underline the importance of Essential Skills.
The week’s activities will continue with messages from celebrities and influencers, Tips & Tutorials from Industry Professionals on Skills (TTIPs), demonstrations, skills alumni stories, a Twitter Chat hosted by The Holmes Group, a segment on Tool Tips with HGTV’s Sebastian Clovis, a social media contest giveaway, and more.

Skills Canada was founded in 1989 as a national, not-for-profit organization with partner Skills Canada organizations in each of the provinces/territories that work with employers, educators, labour groups and governments to promote skilled trade and technology careers among Canadian youth.
