October 1, 2013 – UL has identified the below electronic ballast as bearing a counterfeit UL Recognized Component Mark for Canada and the United States.

This electronic ballast, for Electrodeless Discharge Lamp model 200W, has not been evaluated by UL to any standards for safety and it is unknown if this product complies with any safety requirements. It is not known how many, if any, made their way into Canada.

The affect models bear counterfeit UL Recognized Component Mark and the markings as seen in the photos below.
