May 23, 2012 – UL is notifying consumers and retailers that a Power Fist 50-ft worklight string bears a counterfeit UL Mark for Canada and the United States. The product has not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate safety standard, so it is unknown whether the product complies with UL safety requirements for Canada and the States.

The warning involves 340 units manufactured in February 2011 by Longkou Dongli Wire and Cable Co. of China.
