March 5, 2015 – Epcor Utilities Inc. has been named one of Alberta’s top employers for a 10th year in a row.
The company was noted for its focus on long-term development of employees through in-house training and funding for post-secondary education, as well as mentoring and leadership training.
“The people at EPCOR are very friendly and supportive and have truly helped my family and I to settle into, not only my new role, but a new country,” said Richard, an employee with Epcor Water Services Canada.
Epcor was also highlighted for supporting employees who are new mothers with maternity leave top-up payments (up to 95% of salary for sx weeks) and offering the convenience of an onsite daycare facility, managed by Little Scholars.
The company also maintains a “flexible health benefits plan that allows employees to customize levels of coverage to suit their personal needs as well as a wellness spending account for fitness-related expenses.”
In 2014 Epcor was named one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People through Mediacorp’s competition, as well as Corporate Knights magazine’s Canada’s Best 50 Corporate Citizens.
